The number of "winter campers" is rising and with it the demand for optimal insulation. For particularly cold nights, we have now developed an external insulation mat that delivers results.

356 days well insulated

In winter, the thermal mat insulates the interior from external cold and simultaneously prevents heat loss from the interior through the window pane. External insulation has the advantage that cold air does not directly strike the glass pane, so outside temperature does not freely enter the interior. This is achieved primarily by the closed-cell foam (extreme insulator) that we integrate into the external insulation.

In summer, the external insulation optimally shields the interior from sunlight and external heat, thus preventing the greenhouse effect.

No condensation

Who doesn't know this problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the glass pane from the inside. This happens when warm air inside the camper cools against the significantly colder glass pane and the moisture present in the room as vapour condenses. Before the journey can continue, the windscreen must first be wiped dry. With Project Camper's external insulation, condensation on the pane can be completely avoided.

Fastening in a snap

The thermal mat is simply placed on from outside and then adheres magnetically to the bodywork. Additionally, it is secured by two webbing straps that are fed into the interior and connected with a snap fastener. Important: For the external insulation of the windscreen, the windscreen wipers are placed on the insulation.
