Our magnetic external insulation is suitable year-round as professional thermal insulation, blackout and privacy. In summer, on the other hand, the external insulation optimally shields the interior from solar radiation and heat from outside and thus prevents the greenhouse effect in the vehicle. The result is a pleasantly cool interior compared to the outside temperature. The temperature difference can be more than 10 degrees.
Who doesn't know the problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the inside of the glass pane. This happens when the warm room air in the camper cools down on the much colder glass pane and the moisture that is present in the room in the form of vapour condenses. Before the journey can continue, the windscreen must first be wiped dry. Thanks to the external insulation, heat loss at the glass is significantly reduced, so no more condensation forms on the glass.
The magnetic external insulation is custom-fit for the window and is magnetically attached to the car body. For fixation on the windscreen, both wipers are additionally folded onto the insulation and the sewn-in straps are placed around the door handles on the driver's and passenger's side and secured. The straps of the side external insulations are attached to the mirror arms. In addition, all external insulations have large plastic eyelets that provide an individual fastening option in strong wind.
