Especially for the cab, where most heat is lost in winter, we have developed a magnetic external insulation.

In winter, the Magnet external insulation protects the interior from the cold and at the same time prevents heat in the interior from being quickly lost through the glass surfaces. Insulating from the outside has the advantage that the cold air does not hit the glass pane directly and thus does not enter the interior unhindered. This is mainly provided by the closed-cell foam (extreme insulator) in the core of the external insulation.

In summer, on the other hand, the external insulation shields the interior optimally from solar radiation and external heat, thus preventing the greenhouse effect.

No condensation

Who doesn't know this problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the inside of the glass. This happens when the warm air in the camper cools down on the much colder glass and the moisture that is present in the room in the form of steam condenses. Before the trip can continue, the windscreen must first be wiped dry. With the external insulation from Project Camper, condensation on the window can be completely avoided.

Fitted in a jiffy

The Magnet external insulation is placed precisely on the glass pane and then adheres automatically to the bodywork. For fixing on the windscreen, both windscreen wipers are additionally folded onto the insulation and the sewn-in belts are placed around the door handles on the driver and passenger side and secured. The belts of the side external insulation are attached to the mirror arms. In addition, all external insulation systems have large plastic eyelets that provide an individual fastening option in strong winds.
