Magnetic EXTERNAL INSULATION VW Crafter 2 and MAN TGE windscreen (from 2017) for solar

Specifically for the cab area, where most heat is lost in winter, we have developed a magnetic external insulation.

356 days well insulated

In winter, the magnetic external insulation protects the interior from the cold and at the same time prevents heat in the interior from being lost too quickly through the window surfaces. Insulating from the outside has the advantage that the cold air does not hit the glass pane directly and thus cannot enter the interior unobstructed. This is especially ensured by the closed-cell foam (extreme insulator) in the core of the external insulation.

In summer, on the other hand, the external insulation optimally shields the interior from solar radiation and external heat, thus preventing the greenhouse effect.

No condensation

Who doesn't know the problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the glass pane from the inside. This happens when the warm interior air in the camper cools down at the much colder glass pane and the moisture present in the room in the form of steam condenses. Before the journey can continue, the windscreen first has to be wiped dry. With Project Camper's external insulation, condensation on the window can be completely avoided.

Attachment in a jiffy

The magnetic external insulation is placed precisely on the window pane and then automatically adheres to the bodywork. For fixing to the windscreen, both windscreen wipers are also folded onto the insulation and the sewn-in straps are wrapped around the door handles on the driver and passenger side and fastened. The straps of the side external insulation are attached to the mirror arms. In addition, all external insulation have large plastic eyelets that provide an individual fastening option in strong winds.
