Specifically for the cab, where the most heat is lost in winter, we have developed a magnetic exterior insulation.

In winter, the Magnet thermal mat exterior insulation protects the interior against cold and simultaneously prevents heat in the interior from escaping prematurely through the window surfaces. Insulating from the outside has the advantage that cold air does not directly hit the glass pane and thus does not unobstructed enter the interior. This is primarily achieved by the closed-cell foam (extreme insulator) in the core of the exterior insulation.

In summer, the exterior insulation shields the interior optimally from solar radiation and external heat and thus prevents the greenhouse effect.

No condensation

Who doesn't know this problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the glass pane from the inside. This happens when the warm air in the camper cools against the much colder glass pane and the moisture that is present in the room as vapour condenses. Before the journey can be continued, the windscreen must first be wiped dry. With the exterior insulation from Project Camper, condensation on the pane can be completely avoided.

Installation in a heartbeat

The Magnet thermal mat exterior insulation is placed precisely on the glass pane and then automatically adheres to the bodywork. For fastening to the windscreen, both windscreen wipers are additionally folded onto the insulation and the sewn-in webbing straps are placed around the door handles of the driver and passenger sides and secured. The webbing straps of the lateral exterior insulation are attached to the mirror arms. In addition, all exterior insulations have large plastic eyelets that provide an individual fastening option in strong wind.
