Specifically for the driver's cab, where the most heat is lost in winter, we have developed a magnetic exterior insulation.

In winter, the magnet exterior insulation protects the interior from cold and prevents heat in the interior from being lost prematurely through the window surfaces. Insulating from the outside has the advantage that cold air does not hit the glass directly and thus does not enter the interior unobstructed. This is mainly due to the closed-cell foam (extreme insulator) in the core of the exterior insulation.

In summer, on the other hand, the exterior insulation optimally shields the interior from solar radiation and external heat and thus prevents the greenhouse effect.

No condensation

Who doesn't know this problem? On a cold night, condensation forms on the inside of the glass. This happens when the warm room air in the camper cools against the much colder glass and the moisture present in the room as vapour condenses. Before the journey can continue, the windscreen must first be wiped dry. With Project Camper's exterior insulation, condensation on the window can be completely avoided.

Fastening in a flash

The magnetic exterior insulation is placed precisely on the window pane and then adheres automatically to the bodywork. For fastening to the windscreen, both windscreen wipers are also folded onto the insulation and the sewn-in straps are placed around the door handles on the driver and passenger sides and tightened. The straps of the side exterior insulations are fastened to the mirror arms. In addition, all exterior insulations have large plastic eyelets that provide an individual fastening option in strong winds.
