The number of 'winter campers' is increasing and with it the demand for optimum insulation. For particularly cold nights we have now developed an exterior insulation mat that really delivers.
365 days of good insulation
In winter, the insulation mat insulates the interior from external cold and simultaneously prevents heat loss from the interior through the window surface. External insulation has the advantage that cold air does not hit the glass directly, so external temperature does not penetrate the interior unobstructed. This is primarily due to the closed-cell foam (extreme insulator) that we integrate into the external insulation
In summer, the external insulation optimally shields the interior from solar radiation and external heat, thus preventing the greenhouse effect.
No condensation
Who doesn't know the problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the inside of the glass window. This happens when the warm room air in the camper cools down against the significantly colder glass window and the moisture present in the air in the form of vapour condenses. Before the journey can continue, the windscreen must first be wiped dry. With Project Camper's external insulation, condensation on the window can be completely avoided.
Installation in no time
The magnetic external insulation is placed precisely on the window and then automatically adheres to the bodywork. To fix it to the windscreen, both wipers are folded over the insulation and the sewn-in straps are placed around the door handles of the driver and passenger sides and secured. The straps of the side external insulation are attached to the mirror arms. In addition, all external insulation has large plastic eyelets that provide an individual fastening option in strong winds.
