Specifically for the cab, where most heat is lost in winter, we have developed a magnetic external insulation.

In winter, the magnetic external insulation protects the interior from cold and simultaneously prevents heat in the interior from escaping prematurely through the window areas. Insulating from the outside has the advantage that cold air does not strike the glass directly and thus cannot enter the interior unobstructed. This is primarily due to the closed-cell foam (Extreme Isolator) in the core of the external insulation.

In summer, in turn, the external insulation optimally shields the interior from solar radiation and external heat and prevents the greenhouse effect.

No condensation

Who doesn't know the problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the inside of the glass window. This happens when the warm air in the camper cools at the considerably colder glass and the moisture, which is present in the room as vapour, condenses. Before the tour can continue, the windscreen must first be wiped dry. With the external insulation from Project Camper, condensation on the window can be completely avoided.

Assembly in a jiffy

The magnetic external insulation is placed precisely on the window and then adheres automatically to the bodywork. For attachment to the windscreen, both windscreen wipers are additionally folded onto the insulation and the sewn straps are placed around the door handles of the driver and passenger sides and secured. The straps of the lateral external insulations are attached to the mirror arms. Additionally, all external insulations have large plastic eyelets that offer an individual fastening option in strong winds.
