Especially for the cab, where most heat is lost in winter, we have developed a magnetic external insulation.
356 days well insulated
In winter, the Magnet external insulation protects the interior from the cold and simultaneously prevents heat loss from the interior through the window surfaces. Insulation from outside has the advantage that cold air does not strike the glass pane directly and thus cannot enter the interior unobstructed. This is mainly due to the closed-cell foam (extreme insulator) in the core of the external insulation.
In summer, on the other hand, the external insulation optimally shields the interior from solar radiation and heat from the outside and thus prevents the greenhouse effect.
No condensation
Who doesn't know this problem? During a cold night, condensation forms on the glass pane from the inside. This happens when the warm room air in the camper cools down against the much colder glass pane and the moisture present in the room in the form of steam condenses. Before the trip can continue, the front window must first be wiped dry. With Project Camper's external insulation, condensation on the window can be completely prevented.
Installation in a jiffy
The Magnet external insulation is placed to fit on the window pane and then automatically adheres to the body. For fixing to the front window, both windscreen wipers are additionally folded onto the insulation and the sewn-in webbing straps are placed around the door handles on the driver and passenger sides and fastened. The webbing straps of the side external insulations are attached to the mirror arms. In addition, all external insulations have large plastic eyelets that provide individual fixing options in strong wind.
