Custom-fit pop-up roof insulation with magnetic fastening for Mercedes Marco Polo (from 2014) as thermal and acoustic insulation, blackout and windscreen. Thanks to extra-strong magnets in the hem, the thermal mats can be fastened in a heartbeat. Self-adhesive metal pads are glued to the upper aluminium profile, to which the accordion fold is fastened, as attachment points for the magnets. No holes need to be drilled and no permanent changes need to be made to the vehicle. The self-adhesive metal pads can be removed at any time without residue on request.

The blackout set for the pop-up roof consists of four parts that are connected with a high-quality (durable) hook-and-loop strap. During storage, the parts can remain connected or be separated, for example to achieve a particularly compact size. Two ventilation flaps are incorporated into the side magnet thermal mats (large triangles) equivalent to the accordion fold, which can be opened and closed by zip.

Because the height of the pop-up roof varies slightly on each individual Marco Polo, the side parts of the insulation are made with an overmeasure at the lower edge. The overmeasure is simply folded to the inside, so that no thermal bridge is created in this area.
