Thanks to magnetic fastening, the thermal mats can be installed in seconds and adhere securely to the window frame. Equipped with multi-layer thermal material, the Magnet-Thermal Mats provide protection against solar radiation and insulate the vehicle interior against external temperature fluctuations – both heat and cold.
With an optimal fit, the Magnet-Thermal Mats offer blackout protection even in the critical edge areas.
Metal Pads for Non-Magnetic Surfaces
For vehicles with plastic trim in the window apertures, we supply self-adhesive metal pads as attachment points for the magnets in the mat's edge.
The metal pads, measuring 0.8 by 8 centimetres, are adhered to the interior trim or window glass and can be removed without residue whenever needed.
2. Thermal Material: Structure & Design
In addition to a wide selection of interior designs, our thermal mats are available in two different exterior colours: light grey and black.
Cool Designs on Request
People often wonder whether black exterior fabric is a disadvantage for insulation against solar heat. In the short term, black fabric warms up faster than light grey. However, the insulating core of the thermal material prevents heat from entering the interior directly. Over time, both variants provide equally good insulation.
